Leather is a great product if you like keeping a clean home. It’s easy to clean, wipe friendly, durable, warm, luxurious - the list goes on.
But did you know all the wonderful cleaning products you buy from the supermarkets, the wet wipes you use to clean it, and the furniture polishes are so detrimental to the longevity of the leather?
When you purchase a new piece of leather furniture it will have a protective finish on it to some degree, but over time this will wear down making the leather susceptible to marks, stains and oils. Using detergents, wet wipes and furniture polishes also add to the damage believe it or not - wet wipes being one of the worst things for leather as they're designed to remove dirt and oils of all kinds. They eventually strip the leathers of all protection making it more prone to deteriorating.
Using specifically-designed natural leather cleaners and appropriate cleaning methods and tools, we aim to deep clean your furniture and add a new layer of protection. Once clean we then recommend you clean your sofa every 6-8 months and use the recommended cleaning products to ensure your furniture stays as clean and protected for as long as possible.
Some leather cannot be treated this way especially if it is full or semi aniline - please get in touch with us if you have any queries or would like a quote firstname.lastname@example.org
