I’m Lucy — professional restorer and lifelong chair enthusiast. Since leaving Berkshire in 2015, we’ve been operating from Cornwall and more recently Ilminster, bringing tonnes of experience in seat weaving, upholstery, leatherwork, and full furniture restoration.
My partner Chris handles logistics, IT, heavy lifting and Mac the workshop dog tests every chair (he really doesn’t, could you imagine)(and occasionally chews my socks). Together, we're a small family team committed to precision, passion, and exceptional quality and customer service.
We stand against throw‑away culture, choosing to repair, restore, and revive your beloved furniture and any workshop waste we produce is recycled or disposed of responsibly.
And our mission? Well, that’s to give your furniture renewed purpose—so it can continue to be loved for generations, not end up in landfill.
Though now rooted in Ilminster, we retain our reach across Cornwall, Somerset, Devon and Dorset—and continue collaborating with regional suppliers to minimise carbon miles as much as possible.
